Riser | C.V. EDITION by SPIDERBOWS - Condor Trinity - DUAL - 19-23 inch
With the Condor Trinity, SPIDERBOWS expands its well-known and appreciated top line Condor with a very special model. The riser consists of several layers, which are made of highly stable, sustainable wood in cocobolo, burl birch or rosewood design on the inside and outside, for example. The sustainability is achieved by using European woods, which not only get their beautiful design through a special treatment, but also gain in stability and weight. Without additional inlays or other materials, this creates a vibration-free riser that convinces with absolute precision.
ILF or screw-in limbs? - Or simply both!
With a classic take down bow it is rather difficult to change the limbs for other models, one is usually bound to the respective bow model and its limbs, universal screw limbs and systems are rare on the market. If you want other limbs, you often have to buy a completely new bow.
Similarly, if you are an aspiring archer and want to switch from a take down bow with screw limbs to ILF limbs with their even greater variety of limbs materials. You have to say goodbye to your "beloved" bow and look for a new bow.
What if you could just keep your usual riser and switch between screw-down and ILF limbs as the mood takes you? - Can't do it? You can! With the DUAL System from SPIDERBOWS. The system is as ingenious as it is simple: It is only the limb mountings that ultimately decide whether to use screw or push-fit limbs (ILF). And to make this decision as easy as possible, SPIDERBOWS has made the mounts interchangeable. All SPIDERBOWS risers with DUAL system therefore do not have a classic limb mountings ex works, but only a mounting option for the respective limb mountings, which can be converted or exchanged in just a few steps.
The DUAL mount with all its options is housed in a solid metal block and forms a closed system. The lateral adjustment for throwing arm alignment in the ILF system, for example, is completely integrated in the metal block, thus avoiding cracks in the riser that can occur in conventional systems because the screw is located in the wooden riser. In addition, there are Tiller screws, which have an additional ring and a movable head that optimally guides and fixes the limbs. The bow can be optimally adjusted to personal requirements via the tiller and the draw weight of the bow can be adjusted by approx. ±3 lbs.
But the ILF attachment has a little something more to offer: Due to the requirements of the different sets of rules of the various archery associations, the Tiller screw was extended by an internal grub screw, which serves as an additional locking device. This allows the Tiller screw to be locked in the desired position.
C.V. Edition - Developed by the world champion
Two years of hard work went into the C.V. Edition, which was developed jointly by SPIDERBOWS and Christian Vorderegger, the world and European champion in the IFAA. Meeting all his demands and set goals was not easy, but SPIDE3RBOWS succeeded in building bows with the C.V. Edition that make no compromises.
Various aspects were particularly important to Christian Vorderegger during the joint development:
- The riser must be extremely torsionally stiff, really heavy and cut across the middle! SPIDERBOWS has managed, without additional aids such as metal inserts or the like, to create a riser that is extremely stable through stabilized wood of the latest generation and heavy enough with at least 1200g total weight. The combination of these factors allows for a vibration-free shooting experience that not only feels extremely comfortable, but also culminates in absolute precision.
- Due to the new asymmetrical geometry of the Condor, the bow window is cut further across the center. Nevertheless, the bow remains absolutely stable and optimizes the arrow flight and the possibilities of arrow tuning.
- Finally provided with a comfortable, ergonomic grip, the riser of the Condor fits perfectly to the hand and gives a great feeling when shooting.
Finish by the world champion PERSONALLY
To ensure the quality that one associates with the name of a World and European Champion and may also expect, all bows are personally tested, signed and prepared ready to shoot by Christian Vorderegger after production.
